Message for diff. R&R ranges from $200-$300. The gear install is between $150-$200 depending on (minor) additional parts. If you do a complete replacement of bearings and seals, add another $300 to that. But if you pull your own rear end (that doesn't sound right), have a competent shop set up the gears that can pull the bearings without ruining them, and then replace your diff. yourself, you can get away with as little as $150-$200 to set up the gears. The diff. removal isn't too tough, especially if you have someone manning the brakes as you spin the tires to get at the axle bolts. Shawn did it himself in like 18 minutes...j/k. It's about a 2 hour removal (if you haven't done it before), and the same amount of time to put it back in. I've done it in as little as 2 hours to remove and replace a set up diff., with a competent mechanic (AJ), and when I was "in charge", it took 4 hours (an incompetent mechanic). Hope that gives you some idea as to what to expect, Mark
